1. Contract subject This document regulates the terms and conditions of use of the CRYPTO GEEK STORE platform, a peer-to-peer marketplace that allows registered users to buy and sell used or digital items in exchange for Bitcoin.
2. Registration and access Registration via email and password is mandatory to access marketplace features. To publish listings, the user must request seller authorization and wait for manual approval by Staff. Each user can enter their nickname, Telegram username and profile image. Login credentials are personal and non-transferable.
3. Sales and purchase methods Sales occur exclusively between users (C2C). The seller proposes a product and accepts the platform's terms of use. Staff manually approves each product before publication. The marketplace applies a 2% commission on each successful transaction.
4. Payment system and escrow Payments are made in Bitcoin through an internal escrow system. The buyer sends funds to a dedicated Bitcoin address provided by the platform. Funds are released to the seller only after confirmation of product receipt by the buyer, or upon Staff intervention in case of a complaint. Order creation occurs through automatic detection of the payment tx in mempool. Transaction confirmation can be verified by the seller via the link provided in the order details.
5. Allowed products and prohibited categories The publication of content or goods that: - are illegal under Italian regulations - include food, beverages, supplements, medicines or any ingestible product - are consumable products even if legal - violate copyright or registered trademarks - contain sexual, violent or discriminatory content Staff reserves the right to remove or reject any non-compliant content at its discretion.
6. Shipping and deliveries Shipping is managed directly by users. The seller can indicate when the product was shipped and add any tracking codes. For digital products (e.g. software key), delivery can occur directly via chat or order details. The buyer must confirm receipt of the product to unlock payment.
7. Reviews Users can leave public reviews at the end of each order. The nickname used will be visible to everyone next to the review. Staff reserves the right to moderate or remove offensive or false reviews.
8. Complaints and disputes In case of problems, the user can contact the seller and/or Staff via dedicated support. Until the problem is resolved or the order is confirmed, funds remain in the escrow wallet. The marketplace provides tools to facilitate dialogue but does not guarantee automatic forced resolution.
9. Personal data, privacy and cookies The data collected includes: email, nickname, Telegram username and profile image. The Bitcoin wallet provided by the seller is visible only to Staff. Telegram nickname and username are visible to other users when making a purchase or viewing a listing. All data is managed via Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage) and email notifications are managed by Resend.com. The marketplace chatbot uses OpenAI API keys to provide user assistance. No marketing or data sharing with third parties is performed. The site does not use profiling cookies or tracking tools. Any technical cookies are limited to the functioning of the authentication system and login management.
10. Liability The marketplace is not a party to transactions between users and does not guarantee the quality, legality or authenticity of products. However, it commits to monitor and act in case of reported violations to resolve any disputes. Users are responsible for published content and transactions made.
11. Terms modifications Crypto Geek Store reserves the right to update these T&C at any time. Users will be informed via site notification or email.
